Everything Mobile, Everything Wireless

Well times sure are great. The fact that I’m learning how to update everything “me” online straight from my mobile phone is pretty weird. And may I add, I just bought a new phone last week. After countless hours of frustration with my old Samsung mobile of a year, I decided it was time to upgrade. I really have been wanting a digital camera, so I could post pics of my life up to the blog, but I also really needed a working phone whose buttons worked, etc.. So like in any circumstance of tough decision making for me, I decided to do a little research. How could I get a new mobile phone, and a good quality digital camera, without spending a fortune? Well, my friends at Sony have just the solution: The Sony Ericsson. Sony makes mobile phones that are also Sony Cybershot digital cameras. This was the perfect thing for me. Instead of contacting t-mobile, or going to a cell phone store, I decided to internet shop for a few reasons: 1. I could virutally get any phone I wanted, regardless of what cellular service carries it, because I can buy the phone unlocked. 2. I could also get a phone that was never released in the United States, insuring that my phone is very unique, and 3. I can find the phone that I want, for somewhere around 50% of it’s retail price. And yes my friends, I accomplished all of these things. The Sony Ericsson K850i, a mobile phone only available in the United Kingdom, retailing at $499. It has touch screen capabilities, super high-resolution, and a Sony Cybershot 5 megapixel digital camera. And I purchased it for less than half of its original price through eBay. The Ericsson is a normal mobile phone, you use it upright to do all the normal mobile functions (calling, texting, etc.) But when you press the camera button, the phone is meant to be turned sideways and works just like a high end digital camera.

Anyways, just thought I’d have a little nerdy post on here.. there’s nothing wrong with a little nerdiness once in a while.. right? But be prepared, because I can now post to the blog straight from the phone and post pictures and videos straight from it also, as well as update my twitter seen (seen in the right column of the blog).

Well I’m off to my post-op appointment at the Chattahoochee Surgical Group.

Check out some pics from Sheida and my date to famous Eddie’s Attic last night in Decatur, man did we see some hidden talent perform.

Sheida and I stayed after the open mic contest to get the CD of the night’s winner, Dave Elwert. His piano playing and singing was ridiculous. I have a video of his final, winning song.
